Introducing The New Continental Tires

The new Continental tires ContiSportContact is the company’s Ultra High Performance Summer tire that was produced to satisfy the demands of drivers of sports coupes, cars and sedans. The ContiSportContact was constructed to offer traction in wet and dry road settings, but it is no made to be operated through snow, ice or near-freezing temperatures.

The ContiSportContact 5 P is the newest generation ultra high performance tire from the company. Focusing on sports car drivers who call for safety while running on both dry and wet pavements, the technologically advanced tires offer optimal support.

The company’s development engineers discovered new answers to the composition of the tread compound and the supporting material in the latest tire. Novel carbon black and resin combinations were incorporated into the compound to offer flexibility in the rubber, which is essential for ideal traction. It also helps the stiffness of the tire, which is similarly essential for handling.

With various sizes of tires on 2 axles, cars with powerful engines have obvious benefits in handling, acceleration, and braking. Their benefits of driving qualities can be enhanced even more if the tires on the steering and driving are progressed with the goal of conveying the forces appropriately.

Externally, the Continental tires show off an asymmetric tread design that improves steering precision and steering response while each tire’s ongoing ribs has the circumferential firmness to assist in transitioning acceleration and braking forces. The ongoing circumferential tread grooves between the ribs assist in evacuating water to prevent hydroplaning. On the inside, the ContiSportContact tire shows twin steel belts supported by nylon to balance the tread portion and improve handling as well as high-speed capacity.

There’s a massive number of small tread blocks on the center and side portions of the tread, leading to a big number of transverse edges on the surface of the tire. These edges effectively slice through water on the road, immediately evacuating water out of the tread blocks.

A hybrid supporting material was produced to further improve the tire. Rather than utilizing conventional nylon in the carcass, the company’s engineers worked on a combination of aramid and nylon threads. The mix of both materials further enhances the stiffness and flexibility of the contact portion, guaranteeing that steering and braking are diverted from tire to road more directly and with better protection.

Regardless of extremely high-temperature track settings, the tires feature high levels of grip, providing perfect feedback to the driver with reduced degradation. Vehicles fitted with such tires provided high levels of grip even at accelerating speeds, including shorted braking distances. With so much research and worked put into these tires, don’t expect them to be the most affordable. However, you do get the value for your money.

All in all the Continental tires provide a very positive driving experience. They are able to offer impeccable responsiveness when it comes to successive corners, tight bends, dips and so on. Corners are entered with an evident precision and with no sensation of floating. They appear to do away with road flaws very well for a sports tire. The Continental ContiSportContact 5 will be available in diameters up to 23 inches with general widths starting from 225 to 315mm.
